We just had a small wine tasting for work and this was one of the wines we tasted. It is a Counoise, typically a blending grape the bottler took a bit of a risk by showcasing this all on its own. I think the risk paid off, other may certainly disagree. This wine has upfront ripe berry flavors, a light acidity and brightness for easy drinking, unlike other wines which can be very cerebral this wine is nothing to over think, just enjoy.
